Rules of the "Kucykon 2026" Convention

  1. The "Kucykon 2026" convention (hereinafter: the Convention) takes place at Centrum Konferencyjno-Szkoleniowe spółki Bobrowiecka 9 at ul. Bobrowiecka 9 in Warsaw, on May 23, 2026 from 10:00 to 21:00, and at Spółdzielczy Dom Kultury „Jowisz" at ul. Chodecka 4 in Warsaw, on May 23-24, 2026 from 22:00 to 19:00 the following day.
  2. The Convention is a cultural event within the meaning of the Act of October 25, 1991 on organizing and conducting cultural activities (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 87, as amended) and is not subject to the provisions of the Act of March 20, 2009 on the safety of mass events (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 616, as amended).
  3. The Organizer of the Convention is Jan Akonom.
  4. A Participant of the Convention is any adult person who has signed the participant list and paid the accreditation fee. Confirmation of payment is the receipt of a Convention Badge. Organizers and persons designated by them are exempt from the fee. The accreditation fee does not constitute income and will be entirely allocated to cover costs related to organizing the event incurred by the organizers. The accreditation fee once paid is non-refundable.
  5. The accreditation fee is:

    • 15 EUR (standard),
    • 80 EUR (supporter),

    for the right to stay on the event premises and participate in it. Tickets can be purchased at the accreditation desk.

  6. The Convention Organizers ensure the possibility of paying the above fee throughout the event, except during night hours when the accreditation desk is closed.
  7. The Convention is a two-day event. Accommodation is provided by the Convention Organizers on the Convention premises in specially designated rooms. Sleeping outside the designated rooms is prohibited. The number of sleeping places is limited to 30.
  8. Registration, signing the participant list, and paying the accreditation fee is equivalent to consent to comply with these Rules. Ignorance of the Rules does not exempt from compliance. Participants are obliged to familiarize themselves with the Rules before the Convention or upon entering the event premises.
  9. Non-compliance with the Rules or behavior inconsistent with generally accepted social norms that poses a threat to property, health, or life of oneself or other participants, as well as non-compliance with generally applicable law, will result in immediate removal from the Convention premises, as well as civil liability.
  10. From the moment of arrival at the Convention until its end, each participant bears full financial and legal responsibility for their conduct. The Organizers are not responsible for accidents or damages arising from causes attributable to any of the participants or for other events leading or potentially leading to similar consequences.
  11. The Organizers do not provide accident insurance for participants. Each person participating in the event should have their own insurance.
  12. The Convention is a closed event. Only participants, Convention staff, and persons authorized by the Organizers or employees of Centrum Konferencyjno-Szkoleniowe spółki Bobrowiecka 9 at ul. Bobrowiecka 9 in Warsaw or Spółdzielczy Dom Kultury „Jowisz" in Warsaw may be present on the Convention premises. Each participant is required to wear their badge in a visible place, and in case of loss, to immediately report this fact to the Convention Organizers to receive a duplicate badge. A duplicate can only be received once.
  13. All Convention participants are required to present a valid photo ID at the entrance to confirm their identity. The Organizers have the right to refuse entry to the Convention premises to persons without the above document, as well as to any person whose appearance or behavior raises any doubts about their sobriety, persons behaving aggressively, or in a manner that may significantly reduce the safety level of participants.
  14. Bringing and possessing any weapons onto the Convention premises is STRICTLY PROHIBITED – including bladed weapons – as well as other items considered dangerous within the meaning of the Act of May 21, 1999 on weapons and ammunition (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 485, as amended).
  15. Weapon replicas used as props during Convention attractions may only be brought onto the event premises with the consent of the Organizers.
  16. On the Convention premises there is an absolute prohibition on consuming alcoholic beverages, smoking tobacco and e-cigarettes, as well as possessing and using in any way drugs and intoxicating substances, including designer drugs. Persons proven to possess any intoxicating substances will be immediately removed from the Convention premises – in special cases handed over to city services or the Police.
  17. Intoxicated, aggressive persons, those posing a threat to event participants, and persons deliberately obstructing the Convention program will be removed from the event premises with immediate effect.
  18. The Organizers are not responsible for items lost, damaged, stolen, or left unattended during the convention.
  19. In case of detecting a threat to life or health (e.g., fire, electrical installation damage, dangerously behaving persons), immediately notify the Organizer or Convention staff.
  20. In all disputed cases or cases not covered by the Rules, the Convention Organizer has the decisive voice.
  21. In matters not regulated by these Rules, the venue regulations, room regulations, and the Civil Code apply.
  22. In case these Rules are prepared in different languages, the Polish version is the binding version.
